This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Riverdale Press, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.riverdalepress.com/about_us.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 14:45, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quill.org

[edit]

Hi! I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to ask what the nature of the relationship is between you and Quill.org? Perryprog (talk) 21:55, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Perryprog, thanks for checking in. I’m Quill.org’s marketing manager, so I do have a connection. To avoid bias, I drafted the article using independent, reliable sources and citations, and I welcome review or edits from neutral editors to ensure balance. Thanks! Katejmcneil (talk) 22:15, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the clarification! Would you mind going through the instructions on WP:PAID and WP:COIPAYDISCLOSE in order to properly disclose that? The first link is the more wordy version on the why, the second link is a bit more direct about what you actually need to do to properly disclose your connection. Perryprog (talk) 22:25, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Perryprog. I added the COI template to my user talk page. Let me know if I did that correctly. This is my first time creating a new page from scratch. Katejmcneil (talk) 15:10, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It's not quite right, unfortunately—since you have a financial conflict of interest, you'll want to use the {{paid}} template. If you go here then the paragraph that starts with "You are expected to maintain [...]" is the one that describes how to use it. It might be a bit trickier to add when using the "visual" editor, so you can change to the source editor by clicking the pencil icon next to the "Publish changes" button and choosing "Source editing"; then you can directly copy and paste the text from that linked page and fill in the details. Alternatively, in the visual editing mode, if you just type in {{ and search for "paid" and hit enter you can fill it in that way. Sorry, I know it's a bit confusing! Perryprog (talk) 17:28, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for walking me through the steps. I believe it's correctly displaying now, let me know if not. Kjm9211 (talk) 21:19, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Looks perfect; cheers! Perryprog (talk) 21:55, 15 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Quill.org (September 5)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MediaKyle was:
Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Their outputs usually have multiple issues that prevent them from meeting our guidelines on writing articles. These include:
Please address these issues. The best way is usually to read reliable sources and summarize them, instead of using a large language model. See our help page on large language models.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... I need help reviewing my AfC. It was rejected for suspected LLM usage and promotional sounding content. I have disclosed my COI and edited the article to be more neutral and only used independent sources.

The editor who rejected it did not give specific instances of the article not meeting requirements. It was a generic rejection so I need help looking over my edits before I resubmit. Kjm9211 (talk) 01:36, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Good news! Your draft is not rejected. You are invited to improve it and submit it again when you think it is ready.
One thing you could try is to remove all citations to the Quill organization itself (and anything in the draft that depends on what Quill says about itself). This will help clarify whether or not the organization meets the notability criteria that apply to organizations.
Perhaps this is a personal opinion of mine, but when I see mid-sentence footnotes it makes me believe you are sticking things together that no one source would support. A better approach, in my view, is to locate your best sources and write a summary sentence, in your own words, for each source saying something the source clearly supports. For the purpose of getting a draft accepted, in-depth, journalistic reporting is going to be valued over entries in 'listicles' or coverage at press-release sites like Techcrunch. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:26, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This is super helpful, thank you! I also saw the logo was flagged. I went through process to upload it as "non-free" work, but I cannot upload it until the page exists. Is that the typical work flow? Get page approved, and then add logo afterwards? Kjm9211 (talk) 17:33, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, non-free content is not allowed anywhere but article space, so not allowed in draft or user space. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:32, 18 September 2025 (UTC)resp[reply]
