Ireland's first and only WNBA player and Irish basketball hall of fame is a notable person from Tullamore. Something useful would be to stop that person from removing her. JohnDoeJohnny (talk) 21:55, 18 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Susan Moran Irish Basketball Player, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I don't follow this logic.
Basketball Ireland is a reliable independent source when talking about an Irish Basketball Ireland Hall of Fame member with a national career.
FIBA is a reliable, independent source.
The Irish Examiner is a national newspaper. JohnDoeJohnny (talk) 12:21, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There's not a single thing said in that article that wasn't backed up by those three sources. JohnDoeJohnny (talk) 12:25, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Rambley was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines for sports persons and athletes). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Not seeing a lot of reliable, secondary coverage of the subject.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

I've added more sources. How many do you need? JohnDoeJohnny (talk) 16:02, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
