Disambiguation page for Shaun Shui

[edit]

HI, thanks for your help. I created my first disambiguation page for Shaun Shui (poetry, landscape, and electronic literature work). I probably did it incorrectly and would love your guidance. LoveElectronicLiterature (talk) 15:30, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @LoveElectronicLiterature sorry for only now getting back to you; no problem, I've gone ahead now and fixed the formatting of the disambiguation page per MOS:DAB. That said I myself am not too experienced with disambiguation pages and will have to look further into it as I'm not sure of the inclusion of the "similar" section and the appliance of WP:ONEOTHER. Kind regards and happy editing Squawk7700 (talk) 19:08, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
HI @Squawk7700 @Bobby Cohn also looked at this page: Shaun Shui (disambiguation) - Wikipedia. I greatly appreciate both of your advice and corrections. I still think it would help to have some similar disambiguation, but if that is not possible, no problem. Thanks again

I'm thinking that as there are 3 elements, this would be "Primary topic with two or more other topics" and that hat notes might be unwieldy?
WP:THREEOTHER
If there are two or three other topics, it is still possible to use a hatnote which lists the other topics explicitly, but if this would require too much text (roughly, if the hatnote would extend well over one line on a standard page), then it is better to create a disambiguation page and refer only to that." Yea you are right I somehow confused a few things, sorry. Just as a note: the discussion on what to do with the article was continued here. Squawk7700 (talk) 07:27, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
