Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello, Hachibarachi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Kuči (tribe), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the Edit Request Wizard), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jingiby (talk) 15:48, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
- I do not have any conflict of interest I am only adding purely factual information which has been left out. Hachibarachi (talk) 16:02, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
Hello, Hachibarachi, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Jingiby (talk) 16:18, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, That is simply untrue do you have any proof of this? This is a ridiculous claim I have never used a different account and I have never coordinated with other people. Thank you. Hachibarachi (talk) 16:21, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Kuči (tribe), you may be blocked from editing. ... discospinster talk 16:53, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, all information I added comes from genuine sources and is accurate. Please give me an example on how it is poorly sourced. Hachibarachi (talk) 17:05, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing a page's content back to how you believe it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree with your changes. Please stop editing the page and use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution such as a third opinion. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.
If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule— if things indicate that you intend to continue reverting content on the page. - The information on the Kuči (tribe) is not accurate and I am changing it to be more accurate and less biased. Hachibarachi (talk) 17:20, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
- By just deleting everything I wrote you are removing accurate information. I am willing to come to a compromise but the Kuči (tribe) page is not accurate at all and I will not let it stay that way. Hachibarachi (talk) 17:28, 15 November 2025 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am banned from editing the Kuči page for edit waring, but I am from the tribe itself and I was changing information that was out of context, incorrect, and biased. I am new to Wikipedia editing so I may have gone about it incorrectly, but deleting all my information (which was sourced although I may have not done it correctly) which is accurate is not necessary either. I want to be unbanned because I understand I was not editing the page accurately but I do want to give suggestions and change the in correct information on the origins of my people. I will instead go to the talk page before making edits I did not know that existed. Hachibarachi (talk) 19:01, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Given this brief block, I'm going to rely on their pledge to use the talk page going forward. Editing about topics related to Eastern Europe and the Balkans is a formally designated contentious topic(see below) and it probably isn't the best area for a newer user like yourself to dive right in to. Rules are enforced more strictly in contentious topic areas. Please proceed carefully with a collaborative attitude. Hachibarachi, it's important to be able to edit dispassionately here. Consider if you are too close to your tribe or otherwise too personally invested in it to avoid edit warring. If you find yourself getting angry or frustrated, consider stepping away instead of edit warring. Be advised that if you are blocked again related to a contentious topic, it will likely be for longer. Courtesy ping to The Bushranger. 331dot (talk) 08:22, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- You were blocked for edit-warring, specifically violating 3RR, which is a bright-line rule. - The Bushranger One ping only 00:00, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) Hey Hachibarachi, blocks are only intended to prevent disruption, so you need to show that you understand why you were blocked and what to do if the same situation happened again.
- Can you please read WP:BRD, WP:DRN and WP:Being right isn't enough, as these pages will help you to address this? The blue-linked articles from The Bushranger are also important reading.
- Once you've done this, could you please explain why you were blocked in your own words, and exactly how you'd approach a similar situation differently next time? You may find it helpful to explain the process step-by-step. Blue Sonnet (talk) 04:02, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- I explicitly state that "I will instead go to the talk page before making edits I did not know that existed". Which is exactly what I plan on doing. I was banned for "edit waring", but I am new so I did not know that existed I was simply fixing issues. Hachibarachi (talk) 04:59, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Balkans or Eastern Europe, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Stop
[edit]
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Kuči (tribe). This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.
Important points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. The Bushranger One ping only 20:28, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
You were unblocked and you immediately went back to edit-warring. Stop, now, or you will be blocked indefinitely. - The Bushranger One ping only 20:28, 16 November 2025 (UTC)- I am not engaged in an edit war at all please stop making stuff up. Hachibarachi (talk) 20:30, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- It seems like you are trying to get me banned by making up false claims. I made an edit. It was reverted. And I did not revert it back. There is an on going conversation in the talk page so please see what is going on before actually threatening me with a ban. Hachibarachi (talk) 20:45, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- Upon further review, I mis-read the date on the initial reversion, so you have my apologies for this. - The Bushranger One ping only 20:55, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for admitting you were wrong, it is ok. Hachibarachi (talk) 21:05, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
