Does it not usually automatically sign? GeorgeWL 1990 (talk) 20:55, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It does when using the reply function. That bit is there because some people do not use the reply function, and therefore need to sign their posts manually. QuicoleJR (talk) 21:22, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah okay, makes sense, ty GeorgeWL 1990 (talk) 00:09, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Sam Lerner, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.  Sumanuil. (talk to me) 01:41, 27 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Sam Lerner, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 15:24, 28 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I mean, the source should be obvious, YouTube GeorgeWL 1990 (talk) 21:34, 28 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Youtube is a generally unreliable source per WP:RSPYT unless the channel itself is that of a reliable source (e.g. CNN or the BBC), and wikis are an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source. Waxworker (talk) 12:08, 29 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Is it a unreliable source of its literally the video with them in it? GeorgeWL 1990 (talk) 15:04, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Or should I not trust my eyes? GeorgeWL 1990 (talk) 15:04, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The wiki, which is linked, literally is just a page of direct links to videos on which they have appeared. Tell me what's unreliable about that? GeorgeWL 1990 (talk) 15:13, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sam Lerner, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 12:06, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

IMDB is not a valid source??? Since when GeorgeWL 1990 (talk) 10:43, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
IMDB is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:IMDB. Waxworker (talk) 13:58, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, should we delete the other things directly using it as a source in this article then? GeorgeWL 1990 (talk) 14:18, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Removing content sourced to IMDB would be good - though there isn't any IMDB citations currently on the article. IMDB is fine as an external link, but not as a source. Waxworker (talk) 13:40, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
