Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Editing someone else's talk page and disruptive editing

[edit]

With regard to your posts on @A pile of rotten tomatoes that are actually garbage! user page - "In general, one should avoid substantially editing another's user and user talk pages, except when it is likely edits are expected and/or will be helpful"

Your edits on that page look a lot like disruptive editing. Do you know this person? Turini2 (talk) 20:49, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

yes thats my alt but i lost the login so i moved to this account Faisalisonline (talk) 16:45, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I would recommend making that clear on your user page, as the use of alternative accounts on wikipedia is extremely limited and can lead to blocks and bans. I note you previously stated that Yiqhvkfb (talk) was a friend of yours - do you have access to that account too? Turini2 (talk) 22:22, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
