New page reviewer granted
[edit]
Hi Easternsahara, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 16:02, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

Asking again on the same draft
[edit]The draft Draft:List of Intangible Cultural Heritage elements in China was tried to be submitted but it fell. The reason is: "This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources." But I do not understand this description. There are now 19 references ([1]). And the list is primarily based on [2], thus I do not need to add a footnote everywhere.
The reason why I am so devoted to create it is because China is the country which has the most number of ICH.[1] Missing China should not be acceptable, even people can check from other places.
You mentioned that you wanted to create a same article of the same topic, thus you may help to edit it or combine them.
Please directly (no beating around the bush) answer me questions. DO NOT abuse wiki-jargons or copying template of text. If there are other problems existing, please notify me.
Thank you. HerrGutmannsWiki (talk) 18:54, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, that is the same reason I wanted to create an article for China (and because I love china). I won't abuse wikijargon or copy templates. Very simply, I will tell you that the article should be more like List of Intangible Cultural Heritage elements in Ukraine and List of Intangible Cultural Heritage elements in Palestine as both are at featured list candidacy (basically the best form of a list; similar to featured article for articles). In order of most to least important the list should have: 1. more citations from UNESCO themselves (start here), a map locating china, and a lead in the same format. The lead should look like 1. definition of ICH and China's join date (copy from Ukraine list, change only last sentence), and the last paragraph of the lead should be about the first and most recent list additions, as well as transnational sites. A middle paragraph (like in the Ukraine list) could exist if China has a national register of cultural heritage (here you would need citations from China's national register, not UNESCO). Sadly, I do not think I can help you make an article but it is not that complicated if you just copy the format from the ukraine and palestine lists (the other lists of intangible cultural heritage elements are not in good condition). Still, I think you will be able to make a great list if you follow this advice. Feel free to ask me more questions about the draft on the draft's talk page. Upcoming expiry of your patroller right
[edit]Hi, this is an automated reminder as part of Global reminder bot to let you know that your permission "patroller" (New page reviewers) will expire on 00:00, 10 November 2025 (UTC). For most rights, you will need to renew at WP:PERM, unless you have been told otherwise when your right was approved. To opt out of user right expiry notifications, add yourself to m:Global reminder bot/Exclusion. Leaderbot (talk) 19:41, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
Friendly reminder on your comment
[edit]This comment strays too far from the content dispute. Although I am not fond of the equally off topic attempted rebuttal by the other editor, it would be more constructive to respond that it's not relevant to the reliability of the source, and that zero sources have been provided for the opposite position. Changing the format of List of World Heritage Sites in Arab States

- Please do not continue this conversation on my talkpage, this is not about me but rather a page that I have edited so we will have the conversation at Talk:List of World Heritage Sites in Arab States#Changing the Format of the Page. - @SnickleTaco: the majority of published news articles do not regard her as a Palestinian-American, she currently resides in the UAE, and was living in Canada before that. Why is it that you think that she should be called an American-Palestinian. Additionally, she identifies as a "Palestinian international citizen" User:Easternsaharareview this 02:45, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

- @BlookyNapsta I was pointing out votes that amounted to nothing, I wasn't bludgeoning by repeating the same arguments a ton. Leaving lots of comments on a AfD isn't bludgeoning unless you just engage in IDIDNTHEARTHAT User:Easternsaharareview this 13:34, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- WP:BLUDGEONING says "In Wikipedia terms, bludgeoning is where someone attempts to force their point of view through a very high number of comments, such as contradicting every viewpoint that is different from their own. Typically, this means making the same argument over and over and to different people in the same discussion or across related discussions." (Emphasis mine). Responding to every editor that you disagree with is indeed bludgeoning, even without repeating the same content. Please stop. BlookyNapsta (talk) 08:20, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
