Red links

Hi! Looks like you're pretty new here. Just wanted to let you know that red links aren't dead links and shouldn't be removed just to get rid of red text. They're a handy tool to help show where Wikipedia is lacking potential related articles, which helps us build a more complete encyclopedia. Sometimes they also point to articles on other-language Wikipedias that are missing in English, as a way to provide more information on the topic. As long as they point to something that looks like a plausible article, they should be left in place. The World Destubathon

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It commenced yesterday on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested.
