Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MCE89 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Hi! I don't know if reviews can see this note, but I just wanted to say that I changed my previous submission and added new sources from newspapers and articles about Oliver Ma. He has 100k followers on social media, and I think he has a good chance of doing very well in his race for lieutenant governor of California.

Note to Reviewer: Addressing Notability

[edit]

This draft has been updated with significant secondary coverage to meet notability guidelines. Multiple independent local news outlets such as The Loop Newspaper and Tehachapi News have covered Oliver's campaign launch. Oliver was also profiled in an article b the Rafu Shimpo Oliver was a litigator in the UFW v Boarder Patrol case covered by CalMatters Lastly, I believe he should have a Wikipedia page due to his large social media following and to help inform people when voting on the 2026 California Gubernational elections. == Response regarding Draft:Oliver Ma ==
@Vestrian24Bio: Hello! Thank you for the review.
I updated the draft by adding 4 new independent secondary sources.
These include: Rafu Shimpo, CalMatters, The Loop, and Tehachapi News.
I understand that Oliver isn't very big but I think he deserves a Wikipedia page to help inform voters.
I hope you can take a look at my specific additions. If my additions are not enough, could you please clarify what specific type of coverage I'd need or requirements I'd have to meet? Thank you sir!
Sincerely,
Devacait Devacait (talk) 23:15, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Independent sources that aren't just based on his running for the election would be helpful. Vestrian24Bio 12:47, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The comment the reviewer left was:
Subject simply fails WP:NPOLITICIAN and does not pass WP:GNG either; the sources are insufficient to pass that. They're either primary sources, election database listings, etc.
