Question
[edit]Hey, I have a question. I saw your edit T 30 km/h zone and I was wondering what this thing was about. (Difference between 20 mph and 20 mph?) Slomo666 (talk) 11:58, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- The original text contained an additional non-breakable-space nbsp which was removed. It effectively renders the same ddas|edEn (talk) 01:38, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- Yes I recall now that space was added shortly before the first edit I made on that page. Slomo666 (talk) 08:14, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, yes. I hope we can keep that change. I am still a novice editor and trying to learn. Thank you. ddas|edEn (talk) 12:09, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- It seems that the non breaking space is a guideline. Users are consistently using it referring to MOS. Slomo666 (talk) 13:22, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Slomo666 ok. thanks for sharing ddas|edEn (talk) 03:40, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Slomo666 ok. thanks for sharing. is there something that I need to do? let me know if I should revert my change ddas|edEn (talk) 03:40, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
- It has already been fixed. You don’t need to worry. You made an honest mistake and a pretty minor one at that. I’ve made so many, and they have helped me learn how to edit better. Slomo666 (talk) 09:07, 8 October 2025 (UTC)

Asking to remove an article from categories, as you did at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2025_October_3#Category:Prejudice_and_discrimination_in_fiction, is not the purpose of WP:CFD. That venue is for deleting, renaming, or otherwise refactoring the categories themselves (and stub templates). If you can't remove the categories yourself (by removing Category: links from the article) or seek consensus to make a controversial change, please use the talk page. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 08:02, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your guidance. I was using the Twinkle gadget and may have misunderstood how that functionality works as I am new to it. I will try as you have suggested. ddas|edEn (talk) 23:02, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hyderabad House (restaurant), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Georgia. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:57, 6 October 2025 (UTC)

October 2025
[edit]
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Abdu Gusau Polytechnic when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

- Thank you fixing that for me. I had used the Suggested Edits -> Article Images section of the Wikipedia Android app to add that suggested image to the English Wikipedia. Looks like it introduces the 'alt' parameter incorrectly instead of the 'image_alt' parameter. I will keep a watch. Thanks again. ddas|edEn (talk) 23:19, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Yuvaank. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Yuvaank (talk) 14:42, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your feedback and suggestion. While working to expand the article on Tunku Laksamana Nasir, I found very limited publicly available sources to draw from. To begin exploring possible leads, I used various large language models to generate preliminary outlines and identify potential facts or events. I'm now in the process of verifying and sourcing that information from reliable references before making further edits. Sorry for the trouble. ddas|edEn (talk) 15:31, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
