Boating Party edit
[edit]You added content that sounded like an expert review, but did not include any sort of WP:RS, especially WP:IC, that would allow for verifyability. I will have to remove the content because it seems like WP:OR if you do not add sources. I will not be doing print research on this topic for a few months because while Caillebotte is on exhibition here in Chicago at the Art Institute of Chicago most library books are checked out with waitlists.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 10:57, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
- I am not sure if you understand how Wikipedia works. WP is an encyclopedia, which is a tertiary sources. All content is suppose to summarize legitimate secondary reliable sources. We try to use inline citations. Thus, each fact can be verified by the readers. Adding content that needs citations is not useful. All of your uncited content will be removed if you do not provide valid inline sources.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:44, 2 September 2025 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Boating Party, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Launchballer 15:09, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:James Reed Averill, from its old location at User:Boatsbycenturion/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Sam Sailor 08:00, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: James Reed Averill has been accepted

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.
The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. Most new articles start out as Stub-Class or Start-Class and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.
Thanks again, and happy editing!
