Hi, Did you use any kind of AI to generate this response ? Using AI to reply to people in conversations (without checking and understanding it's output) can be considered disruptive, so if you are using AI on wikipedia, I would suggest that you immediately stop doing that. Reverting children name from Ashok Mittal

[edit]

Hi

I have reverted the addition of children name from Ashok Mittal infobox.

In case you find it to be a mistake, please add it back if you have sufficient proof of his/her being notable as per Infobox Parameters (parameter -children).

Regards Awsib (talk) 19:31, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello
The guideline says:
Typically the number of children (e.g., 3); only list names of independently notable or particularly relevant children. Names may be preceded by a number to show total children and avoid implying that named children are the only offspring. For privacy reasons, consider omitting the names of living children, unless notable.
To give you an example if you notice, even articles like Raveena Tandon does not have her daughter's name mentioned though her daughter's name is well known. Gautam Adani article is also a good example.
Names appearing in some news story doesn't make them notable. Please note children should be notable.
Wikipedia should not be a platform to provide free publicity to children. Also security, privacy etc should be considered. It doesn't help the reader in any way to know names of children if they are not notable. Please refer Wikipedia:Notability (people).
Thanks

Hey Awsib ,
This is a great point! I was thinking that I was contributing for a good cause, but this is another valuable perspective. I will keep this in mind for my future contributions as well.
Appreciate your guidance! Amadavadi (talk) 05:01, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Jio Coin moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Jio Coin. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and in particular, reliable independent sources with significant coverage not just speculation and rumour. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Speedy deletion nomination of Dharoi adventure fest

[edit]

Hello Amadavadi,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dharoi adventure fest for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hi ClaudineChionh,
Thank you for the message and for tagging the article. I understand the importance of meeting Wikipedia’s notability and sourcing guidelines, and I’d like to respectfully contest the speedy deletion of Dharoi adventure fest.
The subject is a government-recognized public tourism event organized by Gujarat Tourism in collaboration with ATOAI (Adventure Tour Operators Association of India). It was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Gujarat in May 2025 and has received coverage in multiple independent and reliable sources, such as:
The article avoids promotional content and has been written with a neutral tone. I’m currently working on improving the references and formatting further.
Thanks again for your time and for reaching out. Amadavadi (talk) 10:33, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

English sources

[edit]

Dear @Amadavadi,

Thank you for your thorough review. I have added several reliable English sources to the Elnaz Habibi's Wikipedia. However, please note that this page is about an Iranian actor, and it is natural that Persian-language sources, news, and reports about them are more prevalent. The limited availability of English sources should not be interpreted as a lack of notability, as their prominence is primarily within the Iranian cultural context, supported by credible Persian sources. I kindly request a re-evaluation of the article in light of these points. I hope the added sources and this explanation will meet the criteria for approval.

Best regards, Houroosh (talk) 12:46, 18 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reasons for proposing an article for deletion

[edit]

Hi Amadavadi, you recently proposed the article Justin Kelly (police officer) for deletion, just 3 minutes after it had been created, claiming you had done this by following the procedure at WP:PROD. The reason you gave for proposing the article for deletion was "No article exists yet." This reason is not a valid reason to delete an article, as the article had just been created. I wonder if you had actually read WP:PROD in full as if you had you should have encountered WP:PRODNOM which describes the steps you need to take before nominating an article for deletion. I don't believe that 3 minutes is sufficient time to perform these steps. Purposes of deletion include removing non-notable articles or article that are not encyclopedic. However, the content of an article does not determine its notability, the number of sources that exist and their content does. The first edit cited a source for the article and the fact that this was done should have been sufficient for you to realise that this article was not going to be a candidate for proposing for deletion. Next time, should you encounter a new article, please take the time to search the internet, or even visit a library, before proposing an article for deletion. New articles should not be deleted on first sight but allowed to develop for a while. Deletion proposals take 7 days to happen, so there is no need to be hasty about proposing an article for deletion. Take your time, and consider the alternatives. Thank you. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 22:57, 2 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Border Security Force, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tekanpur.
