Help needed in discussion Shubhanshu Shukla page

[edit]

someone nominate the page for deletion and I don't see any logic behind it please help me, I am very new to wikipedia and can't argue more Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shubhanshu Shukla. Ghosted Editor (talk) 11:06, 26 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@AdGhosh I wanted to sincerely apologize for the earlier message I left regarding the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shubhanshu Shukla discussion. I've since learned that my method of selectively notifying users was not appropriate per Wikipedia’s canvassing policy. It wasn’t my intention to bias the discussion — I was simply trying to involve experienced editors. I appreciate your understanding, and I’ll be more careful in the future. Thanks! Ghosted Editor (talk) 12:54, 26 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Ghosted Editor There is no need to apologize. We have a lot of things being unknown and we learn every day throughout the entire life. I am also a wikipedian and proud Indian like you. Thank you, for raising your voices on the deletion of the page Shubhanshu Shukla. I have also tried to provide my opinions and logic on the discussion page. Keep writing! Keep editing! Thanks! AdGhosh (talk) 13:36, 26 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you first of all. I know I have reverted some of your edits in space pages, well I was just following some basic rules so sorry for that. And thank you for your contributions in our ISRO Astronaut Corps page and Shukla sir page, I was really tired yesterday about launch and doing the necessary edits and had to sleep and after wake up I saw your edits which was good in fact. Keep editing as well. And I am a Bengali too I am from West Bengal grown up and studied in Bengali medium, but yeah to maintain the formality I have to use English so that everyone can understood what we are talking about. So thank you and have good day bhai (Bro). Ghosted Editor (talk) 14:22, 26 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Ghosted Editor Ok, No need to say sorry. I have noticed that you reverted some of my edits, which were violating Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Good to know that you are an Indian Bengali. I am also from the state of West Bengal (from Kolkata) and an Indian Bengali. I just completed my grade 12 from WBCHSE board this year. I have also noticed your interest in Astronomy, Human spaceflight programs and other space related topics. Although I have joined Wikipedia 2 years ago, I have not much experience and knowledge in topics like, rules for editing articles, Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, legal issues etc. So, I am trying improve myself. Thank you for your contributions on Wikipedia. Take care. Keep editing! বাংলা উইকিপিডিয়াতেও সম্পাদনার জন্য আমন্ত্রণ রইল। শুভেচ্ছা ও ভালোবাসা নেবেন। Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Thanks for your contributions to Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 17:36, 27 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have collected these images from X, and I have already mentioned those X accounts in the description of those images. What I need to do in this perspective? Please reply. Edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! RickyCourtney (talk) 09:16, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@RickyCourtney Ok, my dear brother, thanks for your valuable advice. I understand your issue. I will always try to use edit summary. Take care. Keep writing! Keep editing! Thanks! — AdGhosh (talk) 09:24, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Koshuri (グ) 15:00, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Koshuri Sultan Namaskar! 🙏 I have also noticed you have reverted my mulptiple edits in Shubhanshu Shukla page. I have already mentioned proper reasons in Edit Summary in each case. So, I am not reapting the same. Show proper reasons for deleting my edits, which may help us to reach a concensus. Take care. Keep writing! Keep editing! Thanks. Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

A tag has been placed on Academic Bank of Credits (India), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
