unblock logged-in users on IP range for the University of Sydney
[edit]Hi User:Yamla. Please can you re-evaluate the settings for the IP address or range 129.78.56.0/24. This is a major university, and should not be blocked until August. Especially for logged-in users (as I am). --99of9 (talk) 23:33, 3 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will change it to a soft block. There's a particularly horrific sockpuppeteer operating from your major university, I'm afraid, and using it to spread racist hatred if I remember correctly. --Yamla (talk) 11:36, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
- Actually, I looked into it and found there wasn't enough to sustain a block on that specific /24 range at the moment. I've lifted it entirely. If the hatred-spewing vandal comes back, though, there's a good chance a block will be reimposed. Hopefully anyone who does so will allow signed-in editing, though. --Yamla (talk) 11:41, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks. --99of9 (talk) 11:41, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
