Madelyn Desiano
[edit]Please could you update her page?
Madelyn just finished in Denmark and returned to the states and she also self-published a book! Its on Amazon! Here are two links for the update.
https://fbref.com/en/players/3f297e36/Madelyn-Desiano
that is a link to her stats in Denmark on OB Q. She did have two assists and I don’t know why they are not listed.
also her book link:
please let me know if you need anything else. I really appreciate this!

thank you! Amdesiano (talk) 23:29, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, and thank you for the handy-dandy sources. I will update her club and add stats when I have a moment. Unfortunately, I do not consider myself to be a very knowledgeable or versatile editor, so I'm afraid that I wouldn't know where to start in regards to her book. I think you may find more success by reaching out to somebody else.
- Also, I remember snooping through talk pages back in 2023 and seeing you solicit assistance from other editors for the creation of Madelyn's page, so this feels very surreal to me. I am flattered that you chose to ask for my help, especially with so many experienced editors out there. Your efforts, while unconventional, do seem rather motherly, so I suppose I have to give you kudos for that. 24Anonymous (talk) 01:59, 4 July 2025 (UTC)

Women's soccer links
[edit]Hi 24Anonymous! I noticed you added a bunch of links to the 2021 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament page. I appreciate it and I have been trying to keep up with these myself. I know there are a lot of tournament pages and some team season pages out there these players can be linked on as well. Do you have a good way of keeping track of who has a page and who doesn't? Another editor showed me this list of new articles but it is tough to catch players who had articles created before I started looking at that list. Any thoughts? Swimmer33 (talk) 15:05, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, and thanks for reaching out! Honestly, I wish I had some sort of cunning method to whip out here, but I unfortunately don't. I kind of just remember who has pages and who doesn't from spending too much of my time prowling around the WoSo sphere of Wikipedia. I actually do use the list of new pages fairly often (in this form), mainly to find articles who don't have talk pages and then tag it with banners (is this allowed? I hope so, but I'm getting in my head about it a bit).
- Anyways, I'm sorry that I couldn't bring more to the table, but I definitely have appreciated your linking edits too! I get a good amount of notifications after I've made a page saying something along the lines of "Links were made from # pages to playername by Swimmer33" and it's very comforting to see more players and seasons connected to one another. Happy editing!!! 24Anonymous (talk) 15:38, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- Good to know multiple people are watching the list. That way it seems like we should be pretty good about catching everyone going forward! I'll keep plugging along at pages from the past that I notice. Swimmer33 (talk) 15:41, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for all your help and work on updating the USL Super League article and all the articles related to all the teams. I would like for us to start focusing on makig the current season for all the USL teams. We've already completed the 2025–26 Dallas Trinity FC season which we could use as a template for the other teams.
- Hi, @HavanaHeat:! I appreciate your efforts in expanding the coverage of the Super League as well. I have recently considered adding the 2025–26 seasons for a few teams, especially as the new campaign starts today. However, I admit that I've been procrastinating a bit because I don't really enjoy adding the season fixtures for each team and it kind of sucks the energy out of me. I hope to create a few drafts soon, and if you come across any of them, feel free to add rosters/match boxes to the pages if it's more of your cup of tea. Unfortunately, my schedule does look to be a bit busier for the forseeable future, but I will help out where I can. Happy editing! 24Anonymous (talk) 19:38, 23 August 2025 (UTC)

- @24Anonymous I did not see that you were the editor for all four of these. - @24Anonymous I do concur with the redirect on all four. I am going to see if the curation tool can be improved to allow reviewers to recommend redirects instead of just deletions. - @Demt1298: Definitely! Honestly I'm not all too familiar with the processes of AfD (although it's wonderful to hear that I might seem that way), but building in an easy redirect recommendation makes a lot of sense.
- Also, while you're here: thank you for making the Tampa Bay & Fort Lauderdale season pages last month! It's lovely to see people helping out with USL Super League articles as the league keeps growing. 24Anonymous (talk) 02:16, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
