Hark, noble Men, regal Elves, stout Dwarves, fearsome Orcs and merry Hobbits! I, the Prince of Erebor, extend the grandest and warmest of greetings and bid thee enter The Great Hall of Thráin.
I joined Wikipedia in 2015, the Chinese Wikipedia to be exact, and began with minor edits, such as correcting typos. Along the way, I registered an account on the English Wikipedia. It was not until 2020 that I started creating articles on the Chinese Wikipedia (because, you know, COVID-19, Zoom classes, being stuck at home, so much extra time), but I have already authored some hundreds of articles, including over a dozen good and featured articles. I also possess autopatrolled, patrol, rollback and IP block exempt rights there.
I have become more active on the English Wikipedia since 2023, being granted rollback rights and starting to create original articles in the same year. I mainly contribute to Sinophone cinema articles, with occasional forays into fantasy literature. On the Chinese Wikipedia, my contributions actually span a wider range of topics, including literature, politics, law, popular culture, and miscellaneous things about Hong Kong. Hopefully, I will find more time to contribute here (not being overwhelmed by reality) and eventually write in these categories as well.
