How is it useful to list the citizenship (or nationality, which is discouraged but present in this template) of a comedian in the infobox? – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:52, 18 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Jonesey95: I was editing Jimmy Kimmel, and I noticed that someone had added to his infobox (with a reliable source) that he had gained Italian citizenship, but it wasn't showing up in the article because the comedian infobox hadn't been updated. I couldn't change his infobox to the person infobox because his had different parameters. I'm not sure what other articles that use the comedian infobox still use the nationality parameter, so that's why I'm asking for citizenship to be added instead of swapped. signed, SpringProoftalk00:57, 23 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That sort of trivia is fine to have in the body of the article. It is not a key fact about Jimmy Kimmel. I will repeat: How is it useful to list the citizenship (or nationality, which is discouraged but present in this template) of a comedian in the infobox? See MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:33, 23 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
