"The alleged perpetrators were from the ranks of Russian and pro-Russian separatist armed forces in 89 cases and from civilians or unidentified individuals in territory controlled by Russian armed forces in 2 cases."
The source given says also: "from the ranks of Ukrainian armed forces, including territorial defence, in 9 cases and law enforcement in 1 case". This is omitted from the article. Why?
Regarding verified cases, the article says: "OHCHR reported that 11 cases, including rape and gang rape, were committed by Russian armed forces and law enforcement." The source given also says: "Five acts of CRSV were committed by Ukrainian armed forces, including territorial defence, or other law enforcement bodies."
So out of 23 verified cases, 11 were committed by Russians and 5 by Ukrainians. But the latter is just not mentioned. Why? 31.45.44.189 (talk) 07:59, 14 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No? It's still possible to summarize key information and incidents without going into too much detail, in-depth coverage is what the main article on the topic is for. Mistreatment of POWs has been noted on both sides of the war in relation to war crimes, so I'm not sure why a reader should need to be redirected to a different article for even a basic overview of the topic. Understood. Also speaking of another war crime that both sides have been accused of, should looting on this article for both sides be summarized in the same way? Lazarbeem (talk) 14:03, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Add to the bottom of the subsection the following:
−
+
On 25 June 2025, the [[Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine]] was formally created by a formal legal agreement between the Council of Europe and Ukraine.
Remove Proposed specialized court from the heading of the subsection, replacing the phrase with:
'Special tribunal'
either making it proper name as the linked article (then capitalised), or retaining non-proper name.
