Talk:Steve Lookner

While I disagreed with the result from Articles for Deletion, I respect it. I went back through the article and added what information that I could from reliable sources, while removing a credits page that came from WP:IMDB without further sourcing. Note that YouTube is not considered a reliable source. You will need to find other sources to cite to replace those. Lamona (talk) 17:49, 17 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Does date of birth fall into acceptable content from self-published sources in WP:SELFSOURCE? 🌊PacificDepths🌊 (talk) 07:41, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for expanding adn cleaning up the article. The YouTube videos were published by Steve Lookner and are used to source his date of birth. The policy WP:DOB says, "Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object to the details being made public." It further states, "A verified social media account of an article subject saying about themselves something along the lines of 'today is my 50th birthday' may fall under self-published sources for purposes of reporting a full date of birth. It may be usable if there is no reason to doubt it." Cunard (talk) 10:01, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
