[edit]

I think it's obvious why we need to mention that the rally Deeming helped organise was with a woman with well known far-right ties.

Before the rally:

She guested on an a podcast run by a white nationalist who's buddy buddy with neo-nazis: https://www.thepinknews.com/2019/10/15/gender-critical-posie-parker-interview-jean-francois-gariepy-mumsnet/

Other anti-trans campaigners accused her of islamophobia: https://womansplaceuk.org/2022/06/22/womans-place-and-posie-parker/

She guested on another white nationalist podcast, publicly praised a far-right activist, and took a selfie with a neo-nazi: https://www.thenational.scot/news/23299549.posie-parker-anti-trans-founder-standing-women/

Far-right groups had previously attended her rallies, also she appeared on yet another far-right podcast (twice): https://hopenothate.org.uk/case-files-kellie-jay/

Including a woman who quoted Hitler: https://www.thenational.scot/news/23260544.counter-protest-planned-posie-parker-group-heading-glasgow/

She publicly praised Tucker Carlson, a far-right propagandist: https://www.thepinknews.com/2022/09/23/posie-parker-kellie-jay-keen-trans-eddie-izzard-mp/

After the rally:

She held a Canberra rally that hosted disgraced ex senator and conspiracy theorist Malcolm Roberts: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-65060525

She hosted a rally in Wellington that, yet again, attracted far-right activists: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/posie-parker-anti-trans-rally-attracted-a-range-of-far-right-groups-researchers-say/T6AMCXNMUFGDPBIT5SY5ALBR5U/

Keen has repeatedly praised far-right figures, appeared on their shows, and in turn they've come out to her rallies to support her without being kicked out. Even if she is not in her heart of hearts far-right, and is just making strange allies in her crusade, she clearly has ties to the far-right.

I do think we need to mention Keen's known political ties, especially when the following controversy revolves around Deeming's involvement with the far-right. Crelb (talk) 13:06, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Crelb please read No original research. We don't do it. We don't take sources and connected the dots ourselves and deliver a verdict. We're a WP:TERTIARY source. We take what WP:SECONDARY sources say and we summarise them. If you want to argue for the article stating that she has links to the far right you need to present a number of reliable sources which explicitly state exactly that, in their own voice. "However, she has faced criticism relating to allegations of racism, white supremacy, and ties to far-right anti-LGBT groups." https://www.thenational.scot/news/23299549.posie-parker-anti-trans-founder-standing-women/
"Anti-drag protests and Posie Parker singled out in new report on far-right extremism" https://www.thepinknews.com/2023/02/28/state-of-hate-2023-trans-drag-posie-parker/
"She has found support from the far right, which also targets trans people." https://hopenothate.org.uk/case-files-kellie-jay/
Better? Crelb (talk) 13:27, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull obtained a settlement out of John Pesutto for making exactly that accusation. Read John Pesutto#Moira_Deeming controversy which details him settling with her.
The far-right supporting someone is not the same as "having links to the far-right". Go read that policy I quoted above. I'm not going to debate this with you anymore and if you try to insert the material into the article again you'll have a report in your honour at Arbitration Enforcement. Yes, especially in an article which is not actually about Keen-Minshull, we need to be very careful about her sourcing here. None of these sources support that KJK has "well known far-right ties". The National says that there are "allegations of ... ties to far-right anti-LGBT groups"; Pink News says that Parker was named as a "leading voice in the anti-trans movement" in a report on the far right; Hope Not Hate say that she has been supported by the far right. Even if they did support that she is well known for her far-right connections, none of these sources mention her connection to Deeming at all, and if the sources about Deeming don't mention something, it's probably not relevant to this article.
