Summit cancelled?

The Guardian and CNN are reporting that plans for the Budapest summit have been put on hold for the times being. Should we still refer to the summit in the article as if it will definitely happen or mention the delay more overtly? Chorchapu (talk | edits) 17:08, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

dont believe it is, Péter Szijjártó met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, D.C., where they confirmed that the summit was still ongoing reuters and russia continue preparations newsweek  :-4vryng ^talk 22:49, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

interesting update if anyone is interested, putins response to reporters and Kirill Dmitriev reponse on CNN (he was a delegate for Russia during the 2025 Alaska Summit), also one more interview he did for Fox news at the 1 minute mark where he discusses a resolution -4vryng ^talk 14:50, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
