He has produced songs that incorporate traditional Nepali instruments and influences into pop music. He has also been working as the Managing Director of Royaltone Records Pvt. Ltd. since 2000.

Early Life
[edit]Deepak Bajracharya was born in Lalitpur, Nepal. Due to his interest in music from a young age, he stepped into the Nepali music industry in the 1990s. He has completed his Secondary education from Arniko Boarding School, Lalitpur and higher education at Patan Multiple Campus in Lalitpur, Nepal. He enrolled for Bachelors degree in Commerce; however he dropped out from the college and never completed the course.

He completed his secondary education at Arniko Boarding School in Lalitpur and later studied at Patan Multiple Campus. He enrolled in a bachelor's program in commerce but did not complete the degree.
Career

However; he began his musical career as a member of the band Lituluns in 1990.[4] His songs, including Samjhi Baschu, Kaali Kaali, Mayalu, and Jhyalbata, received attention from listeners. The song O Amira was noted by some international audiences. His music style mixes traditional Nepali instruments such as the madal and bansuri with modern musical instruments. Social work
[edit]In 2011, Bajracharya collaborated with the Nepal Cancer Relief Society and participated in charity events in the United States to support Nepal Tourism Year 2011, following the 2015 Nepal earthquake and he organized benefit concerts and fundraising activities to aid reconstruction efforts and assist affected communities.
Later activities
[edit]Bajracharya gained wider recognition in the early 2000s with the release of Man Magan. In 2011, he toured the United States as a social ambassador for Nepal Tourism Year 2011 promoting Nepali culture and music. In 2023, he launched Project Najeek ("A Step Closer to You"), an initiative intended to strengthen connections between musicians and audiences. The project has included the release of songs that blend traditional and modern musical styles. He has also contributed playback singing for Nepali films, including Jam Na Maya Jam from the movie Maruni. On television, Bajracharya served as a judge on the second season of the reality singing competition Nepali Tara in 2007 and co-hosted The Musical Medicine Show (TMMS) with his daughter Cherisa Bajracharya.
