The Council for a Secure America (CSA) is a non-partisan, non-profit,[1] 501(c)3 organization[2][3] focused on raising awareness of and strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship, energy security, and the role that the Abraham Accords play in bolstering America’s national security. CSA conducts briefings, educational programs, research[4][5][6][7], and expert opinion pieces[8][9]on the benefits of energy security[10] and the reasons for the United States to maintain its alliance with Israel.[11] The group is chaired by founder and chairman of Continental Resources Harold Hamm[12][13] and its advisory board includes former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo[14].Jennifer Sutton is the executive director.[15]
History
[edit]CSA was founded[16] by people experienced in the oil and gas industry space, Jewish leaders,[17] and those looking to minimize the US's reliance on energy from the Gulf region.[18][19]
Delegation missions
[edit]Since its formation[20], CSA has led international delegations from Israel to oil producing regions of the United States, as well as delegations of leaders from America's oil and natural gas industry to Israel and the Abraham Accords countries,[21] to further demonstrate the national security implications of the relationship between the United States and Israel.
Operations
[edit]CSA compiles and releases a constantly updated, open-source, report on the Israel-Hamas war.[22]
