College career
[edit]David spent his entire five-year college career playing for the Butler University Bulldogs, an NCAA Division I program. Throughout his time at Butler, he has embattled through multiple ACL injuries.[1][2]
Professional career

[edit]On September 22, 2022, David signed with the Seoul Samsung Thunders of the Korean Basketball League after the team's contract with William Navarro fell through due to his obligations with Gilas Pilipinas.[3] However, due to a knee injury among other concerns, David never played for the team and Samsung released him on December 16.[4]
David would then declare for the PBA season 48 draft the following year, where he was selected second overall by the Blackwater Bossing on September 17, 2023.[5] On September 25, he signed a two-year rookie deal with the team.[6]
On September 12, 2025, David signed a two-year extension with Blackwater to go alongside new recruit Dalph Panopio.[7]
