Wikipedia:Your favourite thing does not need a Wikipedia article → User:Brachy0008/Your favourite thing does not need a Wikipedia article – Recently made and potentially hostile to editors. Wikipedia should encourage people to make their passion into an article per WP:BEBOLD policy, not discourage people (and then drop an "well if it passes GNG it's okay I guess" at the end). As an anti-inclusionist article that contradicts BEBOLD, WP:NOTPAPER, and other major policies, it should be moved into user space per WP:USERESSAY as a single user's opinion. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 13:14, 3 September 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. - Eh… not going to take sides here, but to be honest, it’s not meant to be anti-inclusionist. Sure, it might have an anti-inclusionist tone to it (ironically, I have written tons and tons of draft articles), but it’s meant for newer editors to understand why their article/addition request is not accepted. My most sincere apologies if this essay is hostile to newer editors.

- Support. Because of the conversational tone of the essay, including various first-person passages, I think it'd read best as a user essay. To my eye, the essay is presented as an explanation being given by a specific person, and moving the essay to userspace will make it more immediately apparent who that person is.
