Maintaining lists on WP vs. linking to primary sources elsewhere

I am wondering whether pages that list hazardous materials, in this case Highly hazardous chemical, should include the actual government-maintained lists or if they should simply link to external sites that are kept up-to-date.

My concern with leaving the list intact is that, unless it is regularly maintained, laypeople may come here for information and may make decisions that do not reflect best available data. I removed the list at "highly hazardous chemical" once but the change was reverted and wanted to seek the opinion of others thinking about occupational safety/health.
