Canvassing

[edit]

You posted the RFC notice on WikiProject Israel but not on WikiProject Palestine. The appropriate and neutral approach would be to post it on both projects, rather than selectively notifying one side to influence participation.

@Cinaroot: Nice try at deflecting responsibility for your own actual canvassing, the discussion of which you removed from your talk page, but the RfC is on the Israel article, not Palestine, so posting to the directly relevant WikiProject is sufficient. I’ve archived mine — you can find it in the archive section. I archive every discussion after i respond or consider it closed. As I explained on my talk page, my action isn’t canvassing because it’s an informal discussion. No changes to article can be made because of informal discussion. A formal rfc is need for it.
Getting back to your Canvassing - Its not how it works. You need to post both projects as it involves both Palestinians and Israel. You posted in a forum ( Audience ) that is partisan to your notification. It like tagging selective people. Thats canvassing.

Posting an RfC notice for an RfC on the Israel article in WikiProject Israel is somehow canvassing? Isn't the RfC about the Israel article specifically? SuperPianoMan9167 (talk) 02:21, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So rfc is about Gaza genocide and Israel. So it involves Palestinians. So both projects should be alerted Cinaroot (talk) 02:23, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Indigenous peoples, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Akkadian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
