[edit] Hello, I'm Faster than Thunder. An edit that you recently made to Circulus (band) seemed to be a test and has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Faster than Thunder (talk | contributions) 21:27, 8 May 2025 (UTC)

- Hello,
- The content which I've added is all sourced from the credits on record sleeves/labels, CD booklets, and Discogs.
- I have removed 'band members' without any such credits, and restricted 'current members' to those credited on the last studio album.
- I have removed two bad links to a different, non UK based Michael Tyack, who is an Australian Musical Theatre Director, and added clarification.
- My last edit was a correction to a spelling mistake.
- Regards,
- Toepath 2A00:23C7:7788:DB01:19F1:D358:8555:C8AD (talk) 08:41, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- P.S.
- In addition to reverting the edits and replacing entirely uncredited and unsubstantiated band members to the article for the UK band 'Circulus', you have restored a bad link between a 'Michael Tyack' included as a nominee in the article for The 3rd Annual Helpmann Awards of 2003, and the Michael Tyack of UK band 'Circulus'.
- However, you have not put back in place the other bad link which was removed, between the Michael Tyack of UK band 'Circulus', and a 'Michael Tyack' credited as Musical Theatre Director for an Australian production of 'Blood Brothers' (call me rash, but I'm slightly tempted by the outlandish idea that the 'Michael Tyack' credited with a nomination for an Australian award for Best Musical Direction in 2003, is the same as the one credited with Musical Theatre Direction of the 2015 Australian production of the Musical 'Blood Brothers' - I don't know - but I categorically do know it's not the same one from UK band 'Circulus', and, yes, I can actually prove it. Sometimes there are people who share a name, who both work in similar fields, but they each live in different countries and lead completely separate lives, for they are, in real life, almost miraculously, entirely different beings. I know - it's weird isn't it? But I believe it really does happen).
- Anyway, just thought you'd like to know you've missed an opportunity to replace another error.
- No need to thank me. Toepath (talk) 10:26, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Toepath. I'm Tamzin, an administrator here. Since Faster than Thunder hasn't responded to you, allow me to clear things up. It looks like you've resolved the Tyack issue, so I'll leave that be, but as to the matter of sourced versus unsourced revisions, I think there's some confusion about what we mean when we say "unsourced". You are correct that you included sources in your edit summaries, and I thank you for that! That's definitely better than nothing, however, when we talk about content being sourced, what we mean is it having a source in the article, usually through a footnote like this.[1] For information on how to do that, please see Help:Referencing for beginners. If you have any further questions about referencing or anything else, don't hesitate to ask for help at The Teahouse. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|đ¤ˇ) 10:24, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
