DYK for Jennifer English

[edit]

On 22 July 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Jennifer English, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the developers of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 added an easy mode so that Jennifer English could play it? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Jennifer English. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Jennifer English), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

A page you reviewed (approved)

[edit]

@BuySomeApples: Hi! I remember back in early May I was working on a BLP page Daniel McNeil (historian) and when I published, you reviewed and approved it. I then took it back to the draftspace and re-published it. Since then, it hasn't been reviewed yet. Would you please review it? Thanks! Happy editing! Sure thing @Particleshow22: it looks fine. BuySomeApples (talk) 16:05, 10 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@BuySomeApples: Thank you! I completely understand, there is a huge backlog for reviewers. If you got some time, please take a look at these (not reviewed yet): African Art Reframed: Reflections and Dialogues on Museum Culture; Michael Keevak; The Data Economy: Tools and Applications; Claire Moses; Information Choice in Macroeconomics and Finance; Nicola Perullo. Happy editing! Particleshow22 (talk) 12:42, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Particleshow22: I'll take a look at those! BuySomeApples (talk) 19:37, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Kraken Technologies

[edit]

@BuySomeApples, I hope you can see I've re-drafted Kraken Technologies, in both style, neutrality, and more citations. I hope you think it's moved in the right direction. Many thanks @Helith049 Helith049 (talk) 13:15, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks @Helith049: I'll let another reviewer take a crack at it so that you can get a second opinion. BuySomeApples (talk) 19:38, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Changes made to my upload

[edit]

Hi. You approved a page I created a few days ago "Oak Leaf (house)" which I really appreciate. I noticed, however, that you removed a section about later owners including a well-known publishing executive who owned the house and constructed clay tennis courts on the historic property. This information contained citations and took time for me to write-up. I'm not sure why you removed this section, and I would like it put back in to the entry. Hixguy1 (talk) 14:31, 25 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Hixguy: when I looked at the citations, they didn't say what you put in the article. Information on Wikipedia must be verifiable, which means it has to be clearly stated by the citations you use (even if you personally know it's true). BuySomeApples (talk) 07:07, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, and thanks for the clarification. I will find another source to add that clearly states her ownership, and will include that source plus the obituary. Hixguy1 (talk) 03:14, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
