Draft:Vivid Money

Hello ThisUserIsVivid. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Vivid Money, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:ThisUserIsVivid. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=ThisUserIsVivid|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Jay8g [VTE] 23:37, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Jay8g,
I’m a salaried employee of Vivid Money, so my edits are “paid contributions” under the Terms of Use.
I have now:
 • added
{{paid|user=ThisUserIsVivid|employer=Vivid Money}}
to my user page, and
 • added
{{connected contributor (paid)|User1=ThisUserIsVivid|U1-employer=Vivid Money}}
to the draft’s talk page.
Going forward, I’ll propose any changes on the talk page using the {{edit request}} process rather than editing the main article directly.
Please let me know if you’d like anything else. Thanks for guiding me through the policy! ThisUserIsVivid (talk) 12:01, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Make sure you add references that meet all four of these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "ThisUserIsVivid", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it suggests this is a group or shared account. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Accounts are to be exclusively used by a single person who may not share access(such as with a colleague or successor to a position). My advice would be that you rename this account to a username in the format of "JohnDoe of Vivid"(your real name is not required) 331dot (talk) 11:00, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you for the note! This account is not a shared or group account — I’m the only person using it. However, I understand the concern about the username possibly implying a group. I’m happy to rename it if needed. Please let me know if that would be the best course of action. ThisUserIsVivid (talk) 13:31, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That would be my suggestion(to rename) but it is only a suggestion. Thanks 331dot (talk) 13:40, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The comment the reviewer left was:
There is still promotional tone but that can be fixed. The main issue is notability. As a company, this must meet WP:NCORP which means there must be sources that meet WP:ORGCRIT. Everything I see here and everything I find online is basically routine coverage of funding announcements, launch, etc. Nothing that meets WP:CORPDEPTH. If resubmitting, please indicate the WP:THREE on the talk page to help reviewers in evaluating notability.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

CNMall41, thank you for the constructive review. For your feedback on WP:NCORP / WP:ORGCRIT and WP:CORPDEPTH, I removed some promotional wordings and added three independent, non-routine sources with significant coverage. I’ve also listed them at Draft talk:Vivid Money#Notability (WP:NCORP) – WP:THREE.
If you spot anything else that needs to be updated, I’m happy to adjust. Thanks again! ThisUserIsVivid (talk) 19:58, 31 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
