Portals and transclusion

Portal:Free and open-source software/Did you know is updated by a bot. User:JL-Bot will pull content from the article's talk page. So if you need to update a link or fix a typo or anything like that, it makes more sense to do so at Talk:Delta (emulator). Otherwise the bot will wipe the changes away at the next update. Portals in general do a lot of automation and transclusion and are more complicated that nearly any regular article. Rjjiii (talk) 05:26, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
