Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. --Finngall talk 20:36, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Please delete Rhonda Roland Shearer's page and renominate it for creation by an experienced editor. Socrynpinfeb (talk) 20:39, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Socrynpinfeb: The discussion is for asking your account to be blocked since you have issued legal threats, not for removing the article. Children Will Listen (🐄 talk, 🫘 contribs) 21:14, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't threatened anyone with the law because I'm a volunteer editor and I'm not the subject of the article. I cannot represent the organizations involved legally or in any other capacity, but this page needs to be cleaned up by an experienced editor or it needs to be deleted if it can't be improved and the content moved elsewhere that is relevant. Anyone misrepresenting their role in these organizations needs to cease and desist for reasons that should be obvious. Socrynpinfeb (talk) 21:23, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Socrynpinfeb Do you really have to make quasi-legal threats for simply changing a single line of an article? Do you have a conflict of interest? Children Will Listen (🐄 talk, 🫘 contribs) 21:50, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I recommend that you stop using legal terms like cease and desist if you don't want your heated remarks to be mistaken for legal threats. As you are also an editor, you must realize that Wikipedia is run by volunteers and you can't go around and make demands. And if you want that article deleted, you'll need to provide some compelling, policy-based reasons for your argument, not just say you don't like the current condition of the article so it should be deleted. Decisions are made on this project through consensus, policy and persuasion, not through demands and threats. We all just regular people here, not some nefarious art cartel trying to ruin someone's reputation. Liz Read! Talk! 21:51, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. Rambling Rambler (talk) 21:38, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Notice

The article Tout-Fait: The Marcel Duchamp Studies Online Journal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Page created by user who operated a string of sockpuppets to promote creator of said journal. No evidence of notability, scholar shows no results after checking. No likelihood of improvement. Delete.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
