ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:36, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

HI, the article about Vito Kuci, why it has been updated to not show the last name and the tribe from where he was born, in the first and second paragraph? 184.144.51.211 (talk) 13:59, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation for the reversal of the change?

[edit]

Hi,

Given that the Ottoman fiscal census of 1455. is the first source for the presence of names of Albanian origin in the territory of Kosovo, why is the paragraph that Serbian kings and Stefan Dusan gave Albanian villages as gifts kept on the page?

Now that you have reported yourself and received a one-day break, I recommend that you join the discussion on Talk:Armorial of Albania. I hope for a constructive dialogue where we can hear more about your imaginative world of the Cernovichio family. Shadow4ya (razgovor) 08:28, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Titles

[edit]

Hello. Please only use the original article title when you add new references to Foreign relations of Serbia, that is the Serbian title and don't translate it. Thanks. Semsûrî (talk) 17:51, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Noted. Thank you for the advice. Shadow4ya (razgovor) 18:09, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Accurate referencing

[edit]

Hello. I modified a reference you provided here. The publication you refer to is actually a scholarly journal, which means that the template should be {{cite journal}} instead of {{cite web}}, with all the accompanying information about the original publication that will allow the reader to trace it down. It's of course good to provide the link to the PDF, but that's just a secondary version of the text. If e.g. the publisher's site goes down and the PDF becomes unavailable, which is not a rare occurrence, the readers will still be able to find the article in a library or elsewhere on the web if you provide the original bibliographic data. It's a simple way to make the references more resilient. Cheers! :) — Phazd (talk|contribs) 00:31, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
