Short descriptions
[edit]Hi, thanks for your work on short descriptions. You might like to look at the guidance at WP:SHORTDESC, which sets out a number of principles for this area. Most important, per WP:SD40 SDs must be short, and for that reason it's often not correct simply to accept the description from Wikidata. Try to avoid repeating words already in the title unless you have to - WP:SDDUPLICATE; and avoid technical jargon in favour of simple, readily comprehensible terms - WP:SDJARGON. Happy editing!
