[edit]ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:42, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Tearawhiti-logo.png
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Tearawhiti-logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:49, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible!♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:08, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Quilt Phase!
Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! [edit]Feel like a winter focus on the arts?
I have just added some Women in Red links to the Wikipedia:WikiProject New Zealand/Performing Arts Aotearoa.
There are some lists of festivals and companies that would be quite easy to make articles for, and if you create articles or exapnd content please let us know in the project page.
I also invite you to add any redlinks you come across.
Mauri ora,
Lisa / Pakoire
Your name is on the project page for Perfroming Arts Aotearoa - if you don't want more sporadic messagaes like this you can take yourself off :) Pakoire (talk) 05:20, 10 August 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Sumanuil. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to MV Kaitaki have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 07:46, 13 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Sumanuil - I should have left explanations of these edits. I can find no reliable source that uses the prefix MV and so I removed it. I would like to move the article in future but am waiting for consensus on the move request at Talk:MS Strait Feronia first. Until that is resolved I won't revert. Quilt Phase (talk) 10:31, 13 August 2025 (UTC)
- Just remember, the "MV" is part of the image file name. Removing it will only stop the image from displaying. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 20:47, 13 August 2025 (UTC)
- Oh that was my mistake! Quilt Phase (talk) 22:15, 13 August 2025 (UTC)
