Welcome!
[edit]Hello, PapyrusPoet, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]
Hello, PapyrusPoet. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the Edit Request Wizard), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:50, 13 August 2025 (UTC)
- BTW, you should disclose your association on your user page, so that the disclosure isn't dependent on one particular draft not being deleted or edited. BusterD (talk) 22:01, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
- Under the circumstances, Emmanuel, you should also disclose any other accounts under which you've edited English Wikipedia. BusterD (talk) 00:54, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
- Added both. Thank you. PapyrusPoet (talk) 07:32, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
- We very much appreciate your doing so. Now you are better insulated from accusations you're doing anything shady. BusterD (talk) 12:36, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
