Seun Bankole (born 15 August 1983), known professionally as SB Live, is a Nigerian gospel singer and band leader. He founded the SB Live Band and organizes an annual music event called the Invibe Concert. He began performing professionally in 2008.

Early life

Bankole was born in Ogun State, Nigeria, on 15 August 1983. He was exposed to gospel and indigenous music from a young age.

Career

Bankole began performing professionally in 2008. In 2020, he released a live gospel project titled Gospel According to SB Live, which featured reinterpretations of gospel music in a Yoruba musical style.[1]

He is the organizer of the annual Invibe Concert, a live music worship event featuring other artists.[2] In 2024, he performed at the Lagos Shopping Festival, which included appearances by Nigerian artists such as Adekunle Gold, Wande Coal, Teni, and Ayo Maff.[3]

He was also featured as a performer at the Owambe Party Christmas Edition in Lagos in 2024.[4]

Recognition

In 2023, SB Live was awarded the City People’s Most Stylish Showbiz Personality of the Year and the Outstanding Performing Live Band of the Year by the Cool Wealth Awards.[5]
