Just something I noticed, as one of my student listed this as her expansion project, but she expanded zh:帽子 which is interlanguage linked to Cap. I can probably have my students translate hat to zh wiki in the future, but... is there some translation/language issue, that the concept of hat has no zh wiki interwiki? Not sure where to ask this since I don't speak Chinese outside machine translation. - I think zh:帽子 would translate to Hat, not Cap. Cap would be something else. Thehistorianisaac (talk) 06:08, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
- I feel it'd be a rather complex issue here. You see in Chinese the word “帽子” or “帽” essentially covers both the English vocabularies of hats and caps, such as “礼帽” (top hat), “棒球帽”(baseball cap), “牛仔帽”（cowboy hat） and “报童帽” (newsboy cap). That's said, hats and caps are generally considered the same concept in Chinese, thus there's only one article on zhwiki.--Mirfaek 09:09, 20 June 2025 (UTC)

[edit]I am now in the middle of reviewing activities of all the students, those who asked and those who have yet to ask for review. Can you see what's going at at zh:中共十八大后的反腐败 ? - There's a wikipedian (Cs haoh) saying what the student added is more like news articles than encyclopedia contents, and the quality of translation is not very good either, thus that wikipedian rollbacked the contents added by the student.--Mirfaek 12:35, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
