I cannot prove 100% that this account and the 70 IP are the same individual, but if i'm wrong in my assumption that will only mean we have TWO people engaging in wrongdoings.

A technical question, one i feel that you, as an administrator, will be able to reply: if it is CONFIRMED in this user's page that they are a SOCK, why is it that they are still not blocked (not that it matters one bit, they'll just get another account and continue to say "it's not me"!)?

- Last input here: the 70 IP is also fairly active (please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/70.125.139.219), doing the same crap! I reverted them at Alberto Rivera (footballer), but was immediately reverted by a user that does tons of edits on former Real Madrid players! --RevampedEditor (talk) 00:09, 3 March 2025 (UTC)
Situation at Rivera taken care of, i added tons of refs there. And before you ask, yes i also edited with an IP there before doing so with the account, but i don't pull the stunts the 70IP nuisance pulls! --RevampedEditor (talk) 02:02, 3 March 2025 (UTC)

- A request for comment is open to discuss whether AI-generated images (meaning those wholly created by generative AI, not human-created images modified with AI tools) should be banned from use in articles.
- A series of 22 mini-RFCs that double-checked consensus on some aspects and improved certain parts of the administrator elections process has been closed (see the summary of the changes).
- A request for comment is open to gain consensus on whether future administrator elections should be held.
Technical news
- A new filter has been added to the Special:Nuke tool, which allows administrators to filter for pages in a range of page sizes (in bytes). This allows, for example, deleting pages only of a certain size or below. T378488
- Non-administrators can now check which pages are able to be deleted using the Special:Nuke tool. T376378

The European Destubathon
[edit]You are invited to participate in The European Destubathon in April. Almost $3000 in Amazon voucher prizes, including prizes for 5 different entities of the UK and Ireland, which can be used to buy books for content, though it can also be treated as an editathon if you're not interested in competing! Minimum content to be added to each article just to ensure that they're over a stub, though longer expansions also welcome. Entries at the end of the contest will be tipped into the 50,000 Destubbing Challenge and European Challenge/20,000 Challenge for UK and Ireland entries. Guideline and policy news
- Following an RfC, administrator elections were permanently authorized on a five-month schedule. The next election will be scheduled soon; see Wikipedia talk:Administrator elections for more information. This is an alternate process to the RfA process and does not replace the latter.
- An RfC was closed with consensus to allow editors to opt-out of seeing "sticky decorative elements". Such elements should now be wrapped in {{sticky decoration wrapper}}. Editors who wish to opt out can follow the instructions at WP:STICKYDECO.
- An RfC has resulted in a broad prohibition on the use of AI-generated images in articles. A few common-sense exceptions are recognized.
