A tag has been placed on User:Marchitects/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 13:26, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

About your sandbox

[edit]

I would like to apologize for not being considerate enough to notice that you are making your own article and not a single-purpose account used to promote Ricardo Scales.

But I still stand on my point of why I tagged your sandbox as G11. WP:G11 states that "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten". Your current sandbox is overflowed with promotional wordings that seriously needed to be rewritten if you want to publish to the main space. That is the main reason why I tagged your page for deletion. (Also WP:IBA in the second section had stated that "Advertising is not limited to only the article space. They are also frequently created on the creators' own user and user talk pages, and (occasionally) in other namespaces as well" so I usually had a reason to be suspicious as I personally had seen many users spamming their own userpages)

Enough with the policies. I am also here to try to help you to improve the draft that you are writing. First, the main issue: wording. As I had stated above, your draft is overflowed with promotional contents, which you would need to replaced with actual facts.

For example in these sentences in "Early life and education" part: "He performed in his first recital at age seven, and by age eleven, his exceptional talent had attracted the attention of Lillian Hodgehead, a founder of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. This encounter led to an eight-year scholarship to study at the Conservatory, where he studied directly under Hodgehead for four years. Remarkably, Hodgehead had also been a mentor to his mother, creating a multi-generational lineage of high-level musical instruction.". I can definitely see it as promotional, and also the last sentence is redundant to me.

=> So my proposed change is: "He performed in his first recital at age seven, and at age eleven, he was offered an eight-year scholarship to study at the Conservatory, where he studied directly under Lillian Hodgehead, a founder of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, for four years." This, in my opinion, eliminates most of the promotions and redundancies that the previous version had. You can also read WP:SPAM, especially WP:SPAMPAGE (because it contains promotional wordings that you should avoid) to understand more.

Also, the one source that you are using, the biography "Ricardo Scales: A Musical Biography", I can not find it at all. Best I can turn up is this: Ricardo Scales | The World's Most Versatile Concert Pianist. Following WP:RS and WP:SECONDARY, I would like to advise you to look for more reliable, secondary sources such as newspapers, or simpler, awards that he achieved (in this case). You can also read WP:GNG or specifically for this case: WP:NM for general guidelines for determining whether a topic is notable enough to include in Wikipedia article.

If you are looking to publish the page to mainspace, then I suggest you read all of the blue links I have made above. That is, in my opinion, the bare minimum of what you should be aware of. The process of publishing a topic to mainspace article is quite tedious, but if you truly want to, you can make it work.

One last thing. If you have a conflict of interest (WP:COI), you should declare now before you continue editing (though I doubt you do).

I think that is enough. Good luck editing, and if you have any question, feel free to contact me at my user talk or here, though I might reply late, so apologies in advance! 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 14:47, 3 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Marchitects", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why.

Per your message in Special:Diff/1303891036 signed "Rashida Knox", you are Rashida Knox, and as your username is "Marchitects", which could mean "m(arketing) a(utomation) architects", and as there is a "Rashida K." on Linkedin whose profile's URL's unique identifier part is "rashida-knox", meaning that said profile is the profile of a Rashida Knox, and as this Rashida Knox operates as or within an entity named "Marketing Automation Architects", it is beyond doubt that you are that Rashida Knox of Marketing Automation Architects, representing yourself here as Marketing Automation Architects, shortened to Marchitects (this "Marchitects" is this: https://www.marketingaa.tech/contact [note the same logo as on Linkedin]; also seen at https://www.lindy.ai/service-partners/marketing-automation-architects and describing itself as"About Us Since 2021, Marchitects has helped professionals and organizations turn their expertise into scalable, revenue-generating content systems ...") This you may not do. You would be required to change your username to continue editing.

But as Marketing Automation Architects is an entity dealing in marketing using AI ("my signature methodology: creating precisely tailored communications that resonate with specific audiences while delivering quantifiable business results. I combine linguistic principles with persuasion science and cutting-edge AI tools, to architect comprehensive content ecosystems (courses, podcasts, newsletters, email campaigns) ... Leveraged certified prompt engineering skills to develop advanced AI-powered content creation workflows that maintain linguistic authenticity • Pioneered research-backed content strategies that apply style-shifting techniques to different audience segments ..."), and being that such activity is surely done commercially, and as you had not disclosed your WP:PAID status when creating the WP:BLP-breaching AI-slop-style promotional biography of a living individual in your sandbox,

it would appear that you are an undisclosed-paid AI-using BLP-breaching promoter.

So instead of changing your username, consider quitting, as you are clearly not here to build an encyclopedia, and anything you could do could only harm Wikipedia. —Alalch E. 11:33, 11 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
