Hello YesI'mOnFire: Enjoy the holiday season and winter solstice if it's occurring in your area of the world, and thanks for your work to maintain, improve and expand Wikipedia. Cheers, Abishe (talk) 13:30, 24 December 2024 (UTC)

A7 on Talk:Swafoo/sandbox
[edit]Hello YesI'mOnFire -- Thanks for patrolling in the holiday season! Just a quick note to say I've deleted this one and blocked the spammer, but do remember in future that A7 is only for articles. I think G8 covers this sort of situation, as well as G11 of course. Cheers, Espresso Addict (talk) 03:09, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- Also, I'd second (third) the note above about tagging userspace drafts with U5, especially those on a subpage. Generally it's best to tag them with G11 if they are screamingly promotional, or just leave them be if they could reasonably be considered an attempt at a draft, even if the subject isn't likely to be notable. What qualifies as a constructive edit

I genuinely want to help but I don't know what qualifies as a constructive edit vs an unconstructive one 2 piece isreal (talk) 15:52, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
Hey, Why Did You Added Hezbollah as Restricted use|suchas=especially logos of extremist organizations?!
[edit]Didn't You Realize That Hezbollah No Longer Terror Group?
It is Resistance Movemment For Lebanese People Against Zionist Aggresson. Mrclubgreentokyo (talk) 15:27, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
- Speak Me! Mrclubgreentokyo (talk) 15:30, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry for replying a bit late, but after looking around a bit I would like to have no more word on this matter. As written in Wikipedia, Hezbollah is seen as an extremist organization, to the point of being called a terrorist group, and since then I haven't seen more reliable sources recently that disagree with that statement, it should be seen that way. And I have said before, I only reverted because I thought it was vandalism (from Wiki standards) and I do not want to involved myself any further in this. š„YesI'mOnFireš„(ContainThisEmber?) 15:47, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
- Oh Yeah? Without Hezbollah, Who Will Else Defend Lebanon From The Zionist Attackers?! The Lebanese Government Is Afraid To Defend Their Nation, Because They're Weak politically and militarily To Fight The Zionists.
- The Reason Why Hezbollah Founded Back In 1985 Because The ZIONISTS Invaded And Assaulted Lebanon.
- JUST THINK CRITICALLY, YOU JERK! Mrclubgreentokyo (talk) 15:51, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
- JUST STOP THINKING THAT HEZBOLLAH IS THE PROBLEM, NOT THE ISRAELI REGIME ITSELF!! Mrclubgreentokyo (talk) 15:57, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
- Have you not read "as written in Wikipedia"? I do not know what Hezbollah is like nor do I want to know about any of these thing. This is the last time I will be replying to the comments. š„YesI'mOnFireš„(ContainThisEmber?) 02:45, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
- JUST STOP THINKING THAT HEZBOLLAH IS THE PROBLEM, NOT THE ISRAELI REGIME ITSELF!! Mrclubgreentokyo (talk) 15:57, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
- And Lebanon Allowed Pro-Hezbollah Bloc To Have Political Rights In It's Parliament. Mrclubgreentokyo (talk) 15:58, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
About your page move
[edit]Hello! I just wanted to let you know that you left a redirect behind when you moved User:Ronitroychowdhury415 to User:Ronitroychowdhury415/sandbox. Because you do not have the Page Mover permission, this is inevitable. However, you should go back to the redirect and nominate it as {{db-error}} to let admins know that it needs deleting. This avoids confusing situations should someone follow a link in the user's signature or the user want to create a new userpage. In this case, I have nominated the redirect for you. Best regards, QwertyForest (talk) 17:40, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
- @QwertyForest
- Im confused. I moved their userpage to their sandbox because their content is not appropriate for userpages. I leave the redirect here thinking if they found out that their draft is lost, then the redirect would lead them straight to where they left off. What should I do then? š„YesI'mOnFireš„(ContainThisEmber?) 07:44, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- I get what you're saying. I think the best thing to do in that case is to leave a note on their talk page explaining the situation and linking them to their sandbox. Would you like to leave the note or would you like me to do it? QwertyForest (talk) 07:50, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- @QwertyForest
- Please do it. But can you tell me how I can do it so next time I won't have to bother you? š„YesI'mOnFireš„(ContainThisEmber?) 07:52, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- Sure! After you move a page you will be shown a screen saying 'The page "ORIGINAL PAGE" (links | edit) has been moved to "NEW PAGE" (edit | history | links | revert | log) (move log)'. From there, you can go to the original page and either manually add {{db-error}} or add it with Twinkle. This nominates the redirect for a G6 speedy deletion. For moves from mainspace to any space other than Category, Portal, Wikipedia, Help or Template, you can also use {{db-r2}} for an R2 speedy deletion. Once you have done that, you can go to the user's talk page to leave the note. Here is the one I left: [1]. QwertyForest (talk) 08:12, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- Yesterday, I learned a better way to handle it. Instead of nominating the original page for deletion, you can replace its contents with {{draftified userpage|User:USERNAME/sandbox}} (as it appears here and not in the edit interface). Best regards, QwertyForest (talk) 15:37, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
