Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Merrimack Warriors men's soccer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ECAC Tournament. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:53, 18 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Major League Rugby Player of the Year. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. JTtheOG (talk) 21:43, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Ryan Martin (rugby union) did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the Talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Legend of 14 (talk) 01:05, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:14, 7 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Jayson Potroz, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 00:01, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Lolcow33, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Rich Mick (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Nswix (talk) 23:58, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Lolcow33. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Unblocked

[edit]

You have been unblocked per Special:PermanentLink/1307654561#Blocked as a sockpuppet. I will note that the choice of username, "Lolcow33", doesn't inspire confidence, and some may consider it disruptive under the username policy. I recommend requesting a rename. voorts (talk/contributions) 23:25, 24 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Typos, grammar issues and more in your edits

[edit]

Please slow down (see WP:NOHURRY) and check your content before saving. You are leaving way too many typos and grammar issues in articles you work on, with Ben Bailey and Cage the Elephant being recent examples. Further, I've noticed some degree of fan bias and writing that doesn't correspond well to provided sources. At some point, because editors get tired of having to do massive cleanups of others' work, they may begin starting discussions to remove your editing privileges. Since I'm sure you would like to avoid that, please take the time to check your work before saving. And please read WP:CIR. Stefen 𝕋ower's got the power!!1! GabGruntwerk 20:07, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies I will start being more careful with my editing especially on the longer/bigger edits.
Thank you for the heads up Lolcow33 (talk) 23:50, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Billy Idol

[edit]

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to Billy Idol have been removed because the citation you added was to another Wikipedia article or an external wiki. As discussed at our policies on circular sourcing and self-published sources, Wikipedia and other wikis should not be used in citations because they are not considered reliable sources. You are welcome to re-add the information using a better reference, perhaps from the article you originally cited. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jay8g [VTE] 16:33, 9 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
