Source for Women's World Cup Statistics Data

You were asking for a source on this data, but there is literally no source available at the moment. All the data was compiled by me, and is stored on my PC, I've sent it over to a women's rugby data website who will put it up at some stage, and can link it to there when appropriate.

Hi, I assume you are talking about Records and statistics of the Women's Rugby World Cup. As you said you compiled the data yourself I recommend you read Wikipedia:No original research. Can I also ask the name of the women's rugby data website you mention? It will need to meet the Wikipedia:Reliable sources guidelines. I would assume it will as I can't think of a reason that means it wont.
Information on the topic is very sparse, especially since the scrumqueens website shut down. If you can find any refereces separate to your research and the website that would be great. Regarding the Added {{More citations needed}} tag, this is mainly there so that any other editors can improve the page.
In the meantime I would advice asking at the Teahouse they are far more experienced than me and will probably explain it better. You should start with the message you posted on my talk page (this page). I suspect they will recomend the page is moved to a draft until the source on the website you mentioned is published. You can also create a topic on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Rugby union to see if any other users interest in rugby union can provide any sources they may be aware of.

This is the one, they have the info up for some of the World Cups individual scoring, but not all (so far).
I've got sources for all the data from variously world.rugby/game archive, ESPN, and an internet archived dutch website. So it's a matter of just glueing everything together and then totting up the sums, which is laborious, but hardly novel. HitchikersPie (talk) 23:05, 22 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
