- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.

[edit] Hello, I'm Tenshi Hinanawi. An edit that you recently made to Statistical hypothesis test seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Tenshi! - Hi Tenshi, thanks for reaching out.
- I appreciate the heads-up regarding the Statistical hypothesis test edit. I understand the concerns around AI-generated content and the importance of maintaining high editorial standards on Wikipedia. The edit I made was based on publicly available academic sources, and I tried to rephrase and structure it in a way that would be encyclopedic and accessible.
- That said, I’m happy to revisit the section and refine it further to ensure it aligns with Wikipedia’s tone and sourcing guidelines. If there are specific parts that felt off or too generic, I’d be grateful for your feedback so I can improve them manually.
- Thanks again for your time and for helping keep the encyclopedia sharp.
- Best,

- Please note that using AI is prohibited in talk pages. Also, citing Wikipedia itself is prohibited as it is a self-published source, I would urge you strongly to write in your own words rather than using LLMs to write for you, as it is known to have problems. - Hi Tenshi, thanks again for the clarification.
- I understand the policy regarding AI use on talk pages and the importance of maintaining editorial integrity. I’ve been working to improve my contributions by rewriting content manually and ensuring it’s based on reliable, third-party sources. I’ll also avoid citing Wikipedia directly going forward thanks for pointing that out.
- If any of my edits still seem off, I’m happy to revisit them and refine the language further. I’m here to contribute constructively and learn from experienced editors like you.
- Appreciate your time and guidance.

Hello, I'm Timtrent. An edit that you recently made to Draft:2FABypass seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please refrain from making edits generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology) in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Draft:2FABypass. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 10:52, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to remove maintenance templates without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Draft:2FABypass, you may be blocked from editing. Theroadislong (talk) 11:22, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Oh ok thanks you very much for your concern i don't think anyone can be assisting me here as you do and I really appreciate i never know remove the ai generated is against the Wikipedia terms I think it will help clean the page anyway thanks again for your information and I will be hoping you look towards the draft and rewrite it once again I really appreciate your time and your concern Letscontributes (talk) 11:27, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Theroadislong,
- I just wanted to sincerely thank you for your recent help with the Draft:2FABypass page. Your experience and thoughtful edits are truly appreciated, especially your transparency in adding the COI tag it shows your commitment to Wikipedia's standards and integrity.
- I'm still learning how to navigate the submission process, and I'd be grateful if you could let me know when the draft might be ready for review again. If you feel it's appropriate and you're willing, I'd be honored if you could submit it yourself once it meets the necessary standards.
- Thanks again for your time and support! Letscontributes (talk) 12:31, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to make unconstructive edits to Wikipedia using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology), you may be blocked from editing. Please don't use AI to communicate here Theroadislong (talk) 12:44, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

Microsoft source on AiTM phishing
[edit]AiTM phishing addition
[edit]Hi all — I added a brief sourced explanation of adversary-in-the-middle (AiTM) phishing attacks that bypass MFA, based on a 2024 Microsoft Tech Community blog by Alex Weinert: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoft-entra-blog/defeating-adversary-in-the-middle-phishing-attacks/1751777. The edit is neutral and cites a credible, non-commercial source. Happy to refine if needed.

- Hello @Pythoncoder, thank you for taking the time to review my draft.
- I’ve carefully revised the article to address the concerns you raised. Specifically:
- I removed all promotional and speculative language.
- I replaced vague or essay-like phrasing with neutral, fact-based descriptions.
- I added inline citations using <ref> tags from reliable sources including Forbes, Ars Technica, SecureLayer7, and the official 2FABypass website.
- The draft now focuses strictly on documented techniques used to bypass Two-Factor Authentication, notable incidents, and verified research sources. I’ve followed Wikipedia’s guidelines on tone, sourcing, and structure.
- I’d really appreciate it if you could take another look or let me know if further changes are needed. Thanks again for your guidance! Letscontributes (talk) 14:43, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia!
[edit]Hello, @Letscontributes, I'm @CoroneC0rnix-64, and it's a pleasure to meet a new, valuable contributor on Wikipedia. I understand that you have recieved a warning for AI use already, so this message might seem a bit awkward. However, we all make mistakes (and especially with AI use warnings, it's hard to tell if you are actually guilty of it or not), and either way, we are all very pleased to have a new editor to make Wikipedia a better place for everyone. If you need to ask a question, feel free to go to the Teahouse or Help Desk. Most people are super friendly and more than pleased to help! If you want, you can even ask me on my Talk page (no question is too small.) Thanks for contributing, CoroneC0rnix-64 (talk) 15:09, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
P.S. Most of the time, I use templates to welcome users, but I felt that your case was special, so this is a genuine, typed out message! Just letting you know ;) CoroneC0rnix-64 (talk) 15:09, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hello @CoroneC0rnix-64,
- Thank you for your kind and thoughtful message. I appreciate the warm welcome and your willingness to reach out personally—it’s encouraging to receive support from experienced editors.
- Regarding the AI use warning, I understand the importance of maintaining Wikipedia’s content standards and am actively working to ensure my contributions align with community guidelines. Your understanding and encouragement are genuinely appreciated.
- I will explore the Teahouse and Help Desk as suggested, and I may reach out to you directly if I have any questions. Thank you again for taking the time to write a personalized message—it was very considerate.
- Best regards,

- Great, @Letscontributes. Thanks for your reply. However, I am afraid to say that I do find that your Talk messages look a lot like LLM-generated text, which is, as @Tenshi Hinanawi said, strictly prohibited. So, please either:
- Stop using AI to answer messages (we want to hear your real opinion!)
- If you are a bot using only AI, stop.
- Thanks, CoroneC0rnix-64 (talk) 16:03, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hey @CoroneC0rnix-64,
- Thanks for pointing that out. I get where you're coming from, and I just want to say I’m not a bot I’m genuinely trying to contribute and be part of the community here.
- If my messages sounded too formal or robotic, that wasn’t on purpose. I’m still figuring things out and trying to be careful with how I write, but I’ll work on making things sound more natural going forward.
- Appreciate the heads up and your honesty. I’m here to learn and improve.
- Cheers,
