Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Kane43, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome!  Kwesi Yema (talk) 19:55, 9 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An IP address was responsible for such vandal changes on 1 June 2025. This has been reverted. You can update the population of these pages only if a reliable source is provided. If you have an issue with an article, raise it on its Talk page. Kwesi Yema (talk) 00:52, 10 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Joshua Project is not a reliable source

[edit]

Per Wikipedia:JOSHUAPROJECT, Joshua Project is considered an unreliable source on Wikipedia. Read Wikipedia:Reliable Sources and Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources to understand what kind of sources are to be used or avoided on Wikipedia. Kwesi Yema (talk) 23:27, 9 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Kwesi Yema There are no sources to prove that the Kumu population is 400k, but as you can see, there’s a source more reliable than Wikipedia showing it’s 963,000. You’re not even Congolese, yet you’re all over everything related to Congo. You even stalk all our ethnic groups—like bro, are you really okay? Don’t you have any shame? Why not focus on West Africa instead? Kane43 (talk) 00:34, 10 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Lendu People Congo (September 10)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Wikishovel was:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
As noted at your user talk page, Joshua Project is not considered a reliable source on Wikipedia. References 8, 9, 10, 13 and 14 are all dead links, and the book references don't have page numbers.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
