Endowment tax form, Wikimania, elections, U4C, fundraising and a duck!
And how do we know?
Five-year journey comes to healthy fruition.
Wikimedians from around the world will gather in person and online at the twentieth annual meeting of Wikimania.
As well as "hermeneutic excursions" and other scientific research findings.
The report covers the Foundation's operations from July 2023 - June 2024
A step towards objective and comprehensive coverage of a project nearly too big to follow.
Drawn this century!
How data from the Wikipedia "necessary articles" lists can shed new light on the gender gap
Annual plans, external trends, infrastructure, equity, safety, and effectiveness. What does it all mean?
Rest in peace.
Wouldn't it be nice without billionaires, scandals, deaths, and wars?
If you are too blasé for Mr. Blasé and don't give a FAC.

Hi Joseph2302, thanks for your message. Re- WP:UKCHANGE starts of by saying "it cannot be called "wrong" to change an existing nationality (e.g.: Welsh to British, or British to Irish) provided a sufficient connection exists" You will see that on the ones I changed they have a definitive country of birth and critically in most cases represent that country in events such as Commonwealth Games and other specific event where they represent for example Wales instead of Great Britain. Furthermore it covers the eventuality whereby somebody prefers to be called Scottish instead of British, when they are both. Many Thanks ApricotFoot (talk) 10:58, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I still have never seen other articles list people as "British (English)", regardless of whether they've competed for GBR and England too. Just because they were born in England/Wales/Scotland, if they mostly compete for Britain and don't demonstrate a strong nationality preference, then British seems like the most sensible solution. For example, I see no evidence that Charlie Dobson identifies strongly as "English", and he hasn't even competed at the Commonwealth Games for England either- so British would seems like the most sensible solution. Either way, I see no consensus to add alternate nationalities in brackets as this is not a common Wikipedia practice to do so. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:19, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
