[edit] Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Ilari Aalto. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. [edit]Thanks for your contributions to Ilari Aalto. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and WP:AUTOBIO. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Haj (talk) 10:55, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your kind assistance with the matter. It is indeed true that this article is about myself and thus autobiographic. The reason for writing it was that it was requested from me by several international colleagues who cannot read Finnish sources. I am aware of the threat autobiographical writing poses for a Wikipedia article, but the content of the article is a translation of the Finnish Wikipedia that is not written by me, and hopefully meets the criteria for neutrality. I have now amended the article and leave it to editors to decide if it meets Wikipedia's standards. Ilarius (talk) 17:13, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
