A tag has been placed on Silk Road Mountain Race requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.themountainraces.cc/silk-road-mountain-race. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Your articles
[edit]Hi, please don't create unreferenced articles in the main article space with no indication, let alone evidence, of notability. Also, a single sentence without any context or explanation why the subject is noteworthy is really not enough, our readers expect to find out meaningful and reliable information about a subject. Even short articles, rated 'Start' class', should look more like this Tour Divide or this Vätternrundan. Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:05, 6 November 2025 (UTC)

- That's okay, no need to apologise, I was just giving you a heads-up so you don't get into trouble if you carry on like that.
- The best thing would be not to create anything in the main article space, where articles are 'live' and immediately visible to our millions of daily visitors. The draft space is the best for developing content which you intend to publish as an article. The easiest way to get started is by going to WP:YFA, where there's a wizard that steps you through the process, ending with submitting your finished draft for pre-publication review by experienced editors at WP:AFC.
- You can also use your personal sandbox to develop content or to just test out editing features.
