Middle name citing question | TheOnlyWiki

[edit]

Hello, I have undone the middle name reversion, but was wondering if I'm missing something - The previous president Munson's middle name did not need to be cited. Regardless, I have added two citations for them, feel free to make them the proper format. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheOnlyWiki (talkcontribs) 20:10, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@TheOnlyWiki: I've wikified the cites. If you are new, I definitely recommend reading WP:Citing sources and learning how to use the citation templates, so you don't have to ask for help each time. I'm happy to help, but generally good to learn these skills. Any information added to Wikipedia should be cited, but perhaps that detail got overlooked for Munson. I can take a look later. --Engineerchange (talk) 21:40, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Nereus Mendenhall

[edit]

On 29 September 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Nereus Mendenhall, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Nereus Mendenhall (pictured) led a delegation to the Confederate States Congress in April 1862 to allow military exemption in the Confederate Army for Quakers? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nereus Mendenhall. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Nereus Mendenhall), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.
