Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ulster Senior League (association football), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Connacht Senior League. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi Isochrone,
Thanks for your quick edit. I was on a public computer and in the midst of making the changes mentioned to put in my own words when I got booted off the hardware. Kudos to you for being so quick to identify and revert the changes!

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Mayo Association Football League, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 13:30, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, ElfmanWriter. I noticed that your recent edit to Limerick F.C. added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Thank you.  Sumanuil. (talk to me) 03:36, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for catching this and letting me know Sumanuil. One of the previous edits removed the word "logo" from the filename so I thought that editor had redirected to a new image (their image was later deleted as no fair use page had been created). I was trying to restore the old redirect in the hope the old image still existed (it does in the French Wikipedia) but to no avail. I should have also reverted my own edits when I discovered this, so apologies for not doing so. ElfmanWriter (talk) 12:51, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reviewing @Absurdum4242, very much appreciated. ElfmanWriter (talk) 14:55, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, you did a solid job. I few more sources wouldn’t hurt, because there are some football editors who seem to enjoy deletion recommendations, but I reckon the ones you have, especially in the limerick post and sporting limerick, are solid shows of notability. Still… a few more wouldn’t hurt… 😆 Absurdum4242 (talk) 15:01, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks. Haha yes, that is the eternal challenge! Most of the sources I found focus more on reporting the results so I'm keeping an eye out for when they report on something more newsworthy. ElfmanWriter (talk) 17:54, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also… you do realise that you have enough successful edits now that you can create pages directly without going through AfC? No problem if you still want an extra pair of eyes on pages you make, but the direct creation method IS faster 😆
good luck out there and keep up the good work.
PS, I notice you seem to be mostly football based, but you’re doing solid work, so if you ever feel like doing some Japanese stuff, there’s loads to do over in WikiProject Japan, including various football stubs (because of the sourcing difficulties 😆). Absurdum4242 (talk) 15:07, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Haha I do but it's always good to get the confirmation from a veteran editor!😄 This was my first AfC so I wanted to wait for feedback before going wild with more articles. But thank you sincerely for the encouragement and I'll certainly check out WikiProject Japan. Happy editing! ElfmanWriter (talk) 18:01, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Paul McGrath (footballer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shelbourne.
